Las Vegas weddings are popularly known all over the
world, as they are often featured in movies. It is well known that
many celebrities have had grand Las Vegas weddings and this is a
popular venue for the not so celebrated ones too. Las Vegas caters
to all types of weddings including the traditional and outdoor ones,
and it also caters to famous themed weddings.

different categories, such as specials on honeymoons, tours, receptions,
cakes, flowers,
limo services, accessories, casinos, chapels and a whole lot more.
Las Vegas weddings are primarily held in wedding chapels. For those
who wish to get married quickly, this traditional ceremony often
entices couples to take their solemn vows surrounded by beautiful
wedding decorations and
arrangements.
Some Las Vegas weddings are also known for their cheesiness factor.
Getting married in front of an Elvis impersonator in a chapel reminiscent
of Graceland is also attractive to many couples. You can also be
delivered to the chapel in a pink Cadillac as well.
Then there are a few other types of Las Vegas weddings that are
fanciful and will be memorable as well. Drive-through, helicopter,
welcome sign, casino and historical weddings are all available in
Las Vegas. Helicopter Las Vegas weddings generally include a tour
of the city along with limousine pickup.
Drive-through Las Vegas weddings were started by companies catering
to the disabled who had trouble walking into the facilities. A popular
destination for many nuptials is the Las Vegas welcome sign at the
southern edge of the city.
Casino Las Vegas weddings are available at most large establishments
including the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, The Golden Nugget and the
Stratosphere. Celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Zsa Zsa Gabor,
Mia Farrow and Richard Gere have taken advantage of the historical
Las Vegas weddings as such places at the Little White Wedding Chapel
and the Little Church of the West.
Then there are the other, less dramatic Las Vegas weddings to consider.
These outdoor venues may offer gazebos with their desert falls and
garden areas. They may also feature patios and elegant waterfalls
for the ceremony and reception. In addition, they may offer onsite
flower shops and photography studios.
An outdoor wedding in Las Vegas is romantic and equally exhilarating
only if you plan it carefully. So, here are some tips on planning
a successful outdoor Las Vegas wedding.
The Weather
Since the event is outside, the weather is the first thing you
will want to consider. Las Vegas is known for its sunny weather
with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year amidst the backdrop
of a lush environment of green, which enthralls both couples and
guests.
During summer days, Nevada can be very hot, reaching 110 degrees
Fahrenheit in June, July and August. It is wise to avoid the heat
of the sun by planning a Las Vegas weddings during these months
early in the morning to avoid the heat of mid day.
An ideal place for a Las Vegas wedding during the summer is up
on Mount Charleston, which is less than a hour's drive from the
bright lights of the city. Summer temperatures there are usually
in the 80's and the scenery on the mountain is breathtaking.
Las Vegas weddings may be subject to sizzling summer heat, but
the same place can be very cold during winter season. Because it
is the desert, many people think Las Vegas is warm all winter long.
This is not the case. The city is located in the Mojave Desert and
is at an elevation of about 2100 feet so it can and does sometimes
get cold in the winter.
Back Up Plan
It is always safe to have a back up plan in every event we plan.
Ask and find out what contingency measures the wedding authorities
have in case the weather does not cooperate on the day of the event.
You should always have alternative options, and in addition, have
a back up budget as well. Indoor Las Vegas weddings are always an
option to avoid uncertainties.
Location
Las Vegas is synonymous for weddings, casinos and entertainment.
The city has been specializing in these activities for a number
of years, and as a result of massive tourism, the city has developed
itself into a more suitable and meaningful wedding spot that will
meet many couple's expectations.
Las Vegas weddings wedding have much more to offer than just the
cheesiness factor. From golf courses to gardens and lakeside locales,
Las Vegas has more breathtaking outdoor wedding locations than you
would expect to find in the middle of the desert.
